We added a lot of projects along the way and he was so helpful and easygoing about our changes. They installed electrical boxes, ceiling fans, multiple faucets, bathroom vanities, shower doors, tile on bathroom floors, tile in the shower and around the bathtub, new drywall and ceilings, and painted several rooms. I can't say enough good things
I had some drywall damage in my bathroom. Thought it was just from moisture from showering. I contacted a couple of companies for patching estimates. Only Eric at House Doctors of Northern Illinois responded. I had filled out an estimate request form on their site and within 15 minutes an agent called to get my estimating appointment scheduled. Then within the hour Eric called, and we had my appointment set to look at the damage.
The estimate was fair, and I approved it. So when the carpenter, Luke, showed up for the repair just a couple of days later, he discovered that my vent stack had a leak. The insulation around the pipe was wet. The original builders of my home cut corners, and the vent stack was a hack job. Eric contacted me immediately to work through a solution to the problem. I had an estimate for the repair within an hour, and the work was scheduled immediately.
I can't say enough good things about House Doctors of Northern Illinois. They repaired my vent stack to code, which is a huge relief. The shingles and new vent stack flashing were done exceedingly well. And the patch to the drywall is so smooth that you'd never know work had been done at all.
This is a great bunch of guys to work with. I won't call anyone else because this company and people have earned my trust.

Eric helped me in a crisis situation. On a Friday night, right before the weekend, my toilet overflowed and my smoke detector went off. It was pure chaos as lights were lit, water was coming through one of the detectors, and the noise was deafening.
