Someone was on-site daily working steadily from 8:30 to 4:30 or so. Dan, the owner, supervised throughout and pitched in when necessary. Andrew is hard-working and meticulous. Mario was absolutely the best contractor I have ever worked with, and I have worked with many. Mario is so well prepared, knowledgeable about everything in the house that needs repaired. He did a fabulous job repairing and painting a huge hole left in my master bedroom closet from an electrician trying to replace a light fixture. It was a mess, and now it looks awesome. Our House Doctors experience was excellent from beginning to end. Dan checked out our project and was very honest about the difficulty of providing an exact price, due to the unknowns around what we would find. He gave us an hourly rate which was acceptable, and gave us some background on the highly skilled tech that he would be sending, who would be able to handle whatever he found. The scheduling was smooth, and on the day of the appointment, Michael, the tech, communicated that he was on his way. He showed up actually a bit early, assessed the situation, explained what he needed to do, and how he planned to do it. It wasn’t straightforward, and he needed to potentially move an outlet in the back of a cabinet. Well, he figured out a better, cleaner, smarter alternative that saved him (and us) at least an hour, and was meticulous in mounting our new microwave. Michael was smart, skilled, and very personable. We would enthusiastically recommend House Doctors and Michael to anyone needing home repairs that they cannot handle on their own.
