Our East Tampa Team

Galen Grimes brings more than three decades of hands-on experience in construction, renovation, and field operations to the House Doctors of East Tampa team. As our Director of Field Services, Galen oversees the planning, execution, and quality control of all field projects — ensuring every job is done right, on time, and with the highest level of craftsmanship.

Galen’s background includes 28+ years in the home construction industry, as well as extensive experience in welding, blueprint reading, property maintenance, and project supervision. He has held leadership roles with national companies including Progress Residential, HavenBrook Homes, and Divvy Homes, managing everything from large-scale renovations to move-in-ready makeovers and vendor coordination.

A veteran of the Michigan Army National Guard, Galen is known for his discipline, attention to detail, and strong work ethic. His ability to problem-solve in the field — whether it’s carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or structural — makes him an invaluable resource for our team and clients alike.
