House Doctors had two appointments at my house this week. The first was to replace some drywall on three walls and repair drywall on six walls. Steven, the Lead Tech, did amazing work! I was so pleased with the results that I would highly recommend this company! The second was to repair two doors which would not stay in place and repair some caulking on some baseboards. Steven returned as the Tech on this job also. Steven is the best drywall, door, and caulk repair individual that I have met! And I have spent the last five years updating my house. This company will perform the repairs the best way, not necessarily the most expensive way. I had not used House Doctors before; I called them based on their reviews and their length of time in business. I also want to recognize Erin, the Office Manager, who is great to work with, timely, efficient, and gets your jobs scheduled! Thanks to a great experience across the company! House Doctors will be my go-to company for any and all repairs. I plan to replace my front glass screen door in the spring of 2026 and will definitely be sure to schedule them for this job. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Repeat Customer) The Labrador Pub – Basement Remodel by House Doctors This wasn’t just a remodel—it was a transformation of vision into reality. I wanted to create a warm, Old English-style pub with a subtle Revolutionary War-era feel, and thanks to House Doctors, that dream became The Labrador Pub. The space started as a blank slate—white walls, white carpet, and no real character. I came to the project with a strong vision, and Stephen brought it to life with true craftsmanship and care. He tore out the old carpet and installed luxury vinyl plank flooring, painted the walls in “English Green”, added Early American-stained beadboard wainscoting, and repainted the doors a crisp, clean white. He even added picture frame molding that gives the perfect touch of elegance and provides dedicated spots to hang my Labrador-themed art. The brick accent wall (done in Old Boston Mill with parchment mortar) was installed by a separate contractor, but I want to be clear—House Doctors could have done that work too. If I were to do it again, I’d trust Stephen to handle the entire project without hesitation. What really set this experience apart was Stephen himself. He genuinely listened, respected my ideas, and offered thoughtful, honest feedback along the way. His attention to detail was exceptional, and his ability to blend form and function exceeded my expectations. I’ll absolutely go back to House Doctors for any future home project because of him. And a special thank you to Erin Booth, the Office Manager. Erin was incredible—organized, responsive, and always made me feel like my project was a priority. Steven with House Doctors was so professional and helpful with what we needed for our house. He fixed an absolutely horrible install of our stairs going down to the basement. They are better than the day we moved into this house. We had our entire stair tread collapse on 3 stairs due to poor craftsmanship and Steven came in and fixed those as well as beefing up the rest of the stairwell so we didn’t have to worry about the integrity of the stairs in the future. He also fixed our front door that was sagging and attached a stair railing that I was going to attempt to fix by myself but figured I should have a professional take care of. Very much recommend House Doctors and I already let Steven know that I would be calling in the future with a few other fixes we’ve been wanting to do!
