Our Story

House Doctors of the Seacoast is a family business, built by Stephanie and Devon Moore — two people who spent years on the customer side of the very frustration they set out to fix.

Before launching this business, Stephanie and Devon spent years buying, fixing, and restoring their own homes and rental properties. They flipped houses. They managed projects from start to finish. And through all of it, they kept running into the same wall: finding contractors who actually showed up, communicated clearly, and did quality work was harder than it should have been. Phone calls went unreturned. Quotes never materialized. Work that did get done often left something to be desired.

So they decided to stop waiting for someone else to solve the problem — and built the company they always wished existed. From the early days, family has been part of the team, and that foundation shapes everything about how we operate: the care we put into every project, the way we communicate with customers, and the pride we take in doing things right.

Devon brings a background in banking and finance to the business, while Stephanie spent her career in product development. Together, they combine operational discipline with a relentless focus on the customer experience — because they've been that customer, and they know exactly what a good experience should feel like.
