Why Ceiling Fan Mounting Hardware Matters
Ceiling fan installation shows why the existing setup matters. A standard light-fixture junction box isn’t designed to support the weight and continuous movement of a ceiling fan. A fan-rated electrical box is built to handle that load.

Bill Austin was the gentleman who was able to change my 1960 bathroom into a work of art. From an old pine vanity and peel-and-stick tile to beautiful ceramic tiles, a mahogany-style vanity, and beautiful chrome accessories. He was cheerful, even in the face of my 75–100-year-old home that had no square angles!
Bill also painted the entire second floor. As with the bathroom, these walls were no picnic.
