We couldn't be happier with the results
"We hired House Doctors to help us prepare a home we were vacating, using both their handyman services for a fairly long list of repairs and their cleaning services for a complete move-out cleaning. After experiencing both, we couldn't be happier with the results.
For the handyman portion, our list included repairing damaged walls, repairing and replacing some flooring, replacing a garbage disposal, fixing cabinets, and handling several other smaller jobs throughout the house. From the beginning, House Doctors made the process incredibly easy. They provided us with a clear, straightforward estimate so we knew what to expect before the work began.
Nick and Steven came out to complete the repairs and did an absolutely fantastic job. They were professional, courteous, efficient, and somehow managed to tackle our entire list in a single day. By the time they were finished, everything looked great.
The final cost for the repairs did end up being a little higher than the original estimate because some additional work became necessary. What we really appreciated was how House Doctors handled it. They contacted us before proceeding, explained exactly what had changed and why it would cost more, and gave us the opportunity to decide whether we wanted to approve the additional expense. There were no surprise charges waiting for us at the end, and that kind of communication and transparency goes a long way.
We also hired House Doctors to handle the final cleaning of the home before we officially left, and once again, the experience was excellent. Nick and the cleaning crew arrived and completed everything in a single day. They scrubbed the floors, cleaned the walls, wiped down surfaces, cleaned the windows, and took care of everything else that needed attention throughout the house.
When they were finished, the entire place was sparkling and smelled amazing. (Not that it smelled bad beforehand), but there's something incredibly satisfying about walking into a freshly cleaned house and immediately knowing somebody did the job right.
The cleaning service was also very reasonably priced. We received a clear estimate upfront, the final price matched what we were quoted, and the entire crew was friendly, courteous, and professional.
Most importantly, after the repairs and cleaning were finished, we felt completely comfortable knowing that we were leaving the house in the kind of condition we found it in when we first moved in. During an already hectic moving process, having one company that could handle both the repairs and the final cleaning made our lives considerably easier.
