Working with the owner Rich Marzan is a joy. He is patient and when he recommends something you never feel like you are being taken advantage of. His team has, so far, completed 3 work projects on my home. A 4th will be Monday, 14 July. The workers are top notch from start to finish and clean-up. If you have a problem with a project that he has signed up with, he will resolve it with you being happy about it. Last but least, I must include Ms. Angela, whom I have dealt with from my beginning with dealing with House Doctors, that makes all of the scheduling, payment, etc., with a kind voice, always ready to help you, and patience. Patience is important when dealing with people when you are doing business with them. Especially old people. I am one."

    "We have called on the House Doctors a few times now for odd jobs around the house that were a little bigger than we could handle, such as fixing the garbage disposal, anchoring cabinets to the wall, hanging the TV, etc. They are always punctual and polite, they do free estimates, and they have excellent old-fashioned customer service. For instance, you can order parts through them, or they'll send you a link of what to order so you can order it yourself and save money."

    "We have had two projects done (so far) by House Doctors: 1) converting an under-staircase deep closet into two more usable closets, and 2) removing sidelights from our front door and closing them in and making it all look nice. We're super happy with their work on both projects—from start to finish they ask the right questions, come up with ideas and suggestions, and have a can-do attitude about solving issues, whereas other contractors sort of shrugged or told me we couldn't do things the way I wanted them. The quotes we got from House Doctors were also pretty reasonable, and the work was professional, done quickly, and just what we'd wanted. The crews were polite, competent, and cleaned up well. We'll use them again for sure!"

    "We called on House Doctors Handyman of McLean to provide us with an estimate for removing a completely stripped screw from a shower curtain rod that we were unable to remove without fear of damaging the underlying tile. The estimator arrived and, within about 10 minutes, was able to remove the screw and did not charge us. The next time we need any repairs around the house, they will be first on our list to call."
